Madrid 14^th December 2021. – Understanding sustainability as a strategic priority for the Lantero Group, a common action framework is established for its four divisions (COEXPAN, EMSUR, LECA and ESTELLA).

Under the positioning “Responsible Packaging”, the group reinforces its commitment to the development of packaging solutions that promote the preservation and availability of food, optimising the use of natural resources, and that promote environmental conservation and social development.

Pillars of action:

1)  Promotion of circular economy and recycling.

With INNOTECH as a lever and in collaboration with all the agents in the value chain (customers, suppliers, partners), we innovate in packaging solutions that are recyclable or biodegradable after use, and which contain recycled material whenever possible, guaranteeing optimum product quality and safety conditions.

2)  Environmental protection

We work to reduce emissions from our operations, reducing consumption and using energy from renewable sources. Furthermore, in order to improve our environmental footprint, we minimise the generation of waste and water consumption by implementing best practices in our processes.

3)  Building a better society

From the group’s companies, we collaborate with the Tomillo Foundation in the development of training and job placement programmes for young people in disadvantaged situations, as well as in initiatives aimed at social action, training and employability.
