The first and most important is the company\u2019s firm determination to make a decisive commitment to this sector. Growth and diversification are the cornerstones of our strategic plan, and our Healthcare division will undoubtedly serve as a catalyst for achieving these goals.<\/p>\n<p>The healthcare sector and all its related segments constitute enormous markets that are growing at an unstoppable pace. An aging population, as well as increased access to healthcare systems, are macro factors that we cannot lose sight of in a market where service, quality, and packaging technology are decisive factors in customers\u2019 purchasing decisions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Based on your experience, what trends will shape the future of the healthcare sector in the coming years, and how should we prepare for them?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There are several trends that will shape the evolution of packaging in the healthcare sector in the coming years. The sustainability and recyclability of packaging used in hospitals will be a priority area of focus. According to data from the Federation of Healthcare Technology Industries (FENIN), the average amount of waste generated during a surgical procedure is 20 kilograms, 60% of which is packaging.<\/p>\n<p>The adoption of new technologies, such as RFID and NFC, will improve inventory control, product traceability, and patient allocation. These solutions, along with the development of smart inks, will undergo significant advancements in the near future.<\/p>\n<p>The business model will also evolve toward a more collaborative format between brands and manufacturers, involving the latter in the earliest stages of the final product\u2019s design and reaching a consensus on more sustainable materials, structures, and designs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is your vision for the development of the healthcare business within the Lantero Group in the medium and long term?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Focus, Strategy, and Governance.<\/p>\n<p>Focus on identifying the most relevant segments within the healthcare market and developing a value proposition aligned with our current technological capabilities.<\/p>\n<p>Strategy, involving appropriate customer and product segmentation, and identifying potential M&amp;A opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>Governance, to monitor progress and make any necessary adjustments to the work plan.
